How to Send a Fax Via Email Using RC
You can send a fax from the desktop app. Click the icon at the bottom of the app:
You can send a fax from the Ring Central soft phone app on your smart phone or from the desktop app.
How to Receive a Fax Using RC
Faxes can be received via our main number - 347-351-3031. The fax notification is sent to slack under the voicemails channel. The fax is attached to the notification as a PDF.
Third Party Fax Sending Option
https://faxzero.com/. No sign-up necessary. Faxing is free.
The phone number and email will appear on the fax, so make sure they are accurate.
Fax Troubleshooting
You can send free test faxes from outside RC by using https://faxzero.com/.
You can send a free test fax to a number outside RC by using the HP Fax Test Service at 1-888-HPFaxme (8884732963). This free service sends a return fax within 5 to 7 minutes when fax is working properly.
As of Nov 2022 this stopped working. RC cannot fix it. Do not send a fax using the method below!
- You must send from your primary NYGG email address to send or the fax won't go through.
- Send the fax to [fax number]@rcfax.com. The phone number can have dashes or not; it doesn't matter.
