Scheduling Email Messages Using Think Automation

Think Automation accepts HTML files to be sent as emails. The file must be in HTML format. Cannot use IT Glue docs, PDFs, etc. If unsure, it's best to test it out by sending yourself an email first. 


You specify the HTML file as a link. For this purpose we store the files in the nygg S3 bucket.

Backup copies of the HTML files are stored in GGIT sharepoint site under the folder "Copies of HTML letters stored in NYGG S3 bucket."



To edit the HTML file, it's generally easiest to open it with notepad. You can also use this online HTML editor. Edit the sharepoint version, and when you have it right, upload it to S3. 


If you upload a new html file to the NYGG bucket using S3 Browser, make sure to set the permissions to be publicly readable.  If you replace a current file, the new version must be set to have read permissions for everyone.


When you replace a file in S3, it doesn't automatically copy the old permissions the way Windows does.
