MailerLite Bulk Email Service
Uses
Mailerlite is used for multiple purposes:
1. To send monthly RSS newsletter (pulls RSS feed from geekgirlsit.com/blog).
Contacts who confirm they want to be subscribed from the following contact forms on the geekgirlsit.com are automatically added to the New York Geek Girls, Inc. Newsletter group:

To add this feature to a new contact form, go to form settings, MailerLite integration and add a feed.
You WILL still have to manually add users from the company onboarding form. This is because there’s no way to feed multiple users from the WP form entry into MailerLite.
At this time we also need to manually add users added via the Customer New User Form. Roberta usually adds them as the new user form submissions come into the info mailbox.
2. To send time-sensitive bulletins to authorization contacts (GGIT Authorization Contact Group) or specific groups of users (laptop users, Todyl users, etc).
Automation
Here is some general info on the "Automation" feature in Mailerlite.
Triggers
If you use the trigger "when a subscriber joins a group," the emails would start going only
to the subscriber who newly joined, not to the group's current
subscribers. However you could manually
add subscribers who were already in the Group as well.
Manually Adding Subscribers
Always add the user's first name, last name and company name.
Automation Steps
Note: It's very complicated and poorly designed. Best to stay away from Automation. Use scheduled sends in OWA or Power Automate instead if possible.
