ThinkAutomation Triggers and Shortcuts

What is ThinkAutomation?

ThinkAutomation is email parsing software that runs on a virtual server in the cloud. We use it for many background functions, including processing monthly customer reports and sending forms to customers.

We also use it to automate repetitive administrative tasks. For example:

  1. send email to request@thinkauto.geekgirlsit.com with subject "SC Reminder" to remind them that ScreenConnect has not been installed prior to an appointment the following day. (This trigger also adds an internal note to the ticket documenting that this note was sent.) The body of the message should look like this:

Email: [contact email]

Ticket: [AT ticket number] (Each item should be on a separate line).

Computer: [workstation hostname or whatever name you want to use to identify machine to customer.]

Example:
Ticket: T20251021.1000
Computer: JANEPC-002

Info
FYI: Emails going to the addresses we use for triggers are excluded from signatures in the Code Two dashboard using the recipient filter.
