Microsoft Bookings - How to Schedule an Internal Meeting

In order you to book with more than one team member at a time, as well as automatically add appointments to all attendees’ calendar, including your own, use this link for MS Bookings. It’s the Bookings app from within your M365 web dashboard. You’ll have to be signed in to use it, and that connects it to your calendar.

 

  1. Click ‘+ New Booking’ in the top left of the calendar view
  2. It will default to ‘[INTERNAL Team-wide Meeting‘. This is a drop down menu to select the type of meeting. From the dropdown, select [INTERNAL] Schedule Time with a Team Member. 
  3. Edit the start and end date/time and other ‘Service Details’ as needed
  4. Add desired team member(s), including yourself. 
  5. Ignore ‘Customer Information’ (unless you want to use the ‘Topic’ field)
  6. Click ‘Create Booking”

 

That’s it! You and the other staff members you chose will all see the appointment on their respective calendars. 

The staff receiving the meeting still have the option to cancel the meeting.
