CNA Worker's Comp Audit and Accessing Filed Payroll Tax Forms and Info


This info is for Quickbooks, which we usedf through 2024. For 2025 we will need new instructions for the Isolved portal. 

Payroll Filings Filed by QBO Payroll

To see PDFs of tax filings that QB Online Payroll has filed, in QB Online:
  1. On the left, select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select the Filings tab.
  3. View your current tax forms under Upcoming Filings or select Archive (tiny link on the right) for past forms. 

Gross Wages from Federal Form 941

  1. On the left, select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select the Filings tab.
  3. Click on Archived forms and filings
  4. Choose the correct dates for each filing. Open the filling and copy the total wages from Box 2.
  5. Note:  Form 941 shows wages for the entire quarter (including 10/1 through 10/25 of last year)

Gross Wages .Per Employee

Reports>Payroll Detail. Edit the dates to match the intake form. Click customize to choose one employee. 

Older Filings (historical) 

Forms before Q3 2022 (including 2020 and 2021) were filed in QB Desktop payroll. These are saved on the SharePoint site: Geek Girls IT Team Site - Documents\Corporation, Banking\Payroll Filings

Reports>Payroll tax and wage summary
(This is under favorites)


View All Overtime

Reports>Payroll Details report. You can see the overtime hours per employee in the Hours column.
