Workstation Recommendation / Purchase Criteria

It's appropriate to ask a tech to assist with appropriate hardware specs for a given customer. 

Required specs: 

  1. Windows 11 Pro or higher

Preferred Specs (unless for very basic office use only):

  1. 16 GB memory (RAM)
  2. Minimum 512 GB SSD
  3. Monitor: 23" - 1920 X 1080; IPS panel type

Always check ports on PC and monitor for correct cord and include adaptors in the quote if needed.

Recommendations to Customers Purchasing on Their Own 


Occasionally we make a courtesy recommendation of a workstation to a managed services customer. Some customers prefer to purchase hardware on their own.

We may also make recommendations on items that we don't sell, such as printers. It is usually a good idea to add this disclaimer when recommending products that may have varying reliability such as consumer-grade printers.
