ScreenConnect Privacy Concerns

The software called ScreenConnect was downloaded onto laptops only, enabling GGIT technical support direct access to laptops when needed for updates or troubleshooting.  This software was not downloaded onto cell phones.

If help is needed with your phone, GGIT can send a link to install SC on the phone but the support is very limited.  The app only allows GGIT to see the screen and only after permission is given.  Once the call/session has ended, the only way they can access again is if you initiate another session with a new link.

ScreenConnect Privacy Concerns

The software called SGN Connect was downloaded onto laptops and possibly cell phones and this is your virtual private network (VPN). It provides you with online privacy and maintains data security.  By using a VPN, your IP address is changed and your online activity is encrypted, so you cannot be tracked.  Some internet service providers (ISPs) may know that you're using a VPN, but they can't see your actual online activity.  Using SGN Connect minimizes the chances of being tracked online.

Duo Privacy Concerns

The app called DUO Authentication was downloaded onto your workstations as an added layer of security to log into them.

The DUO Mobile software that you downloaded onto your phones is basically a remote key.  The software does not monitor or access information on laptops or phones.
