In Quickbooks:
Vendors->Print/Efile 1099’s->1099 Summary Report.
Fill out one form for each vendor listed who made more than $600 in last year. (Note: there are two forms on each page of 1099’s. Do not cut or separate.)
Under thresholds box, select “ignore thresholds”. If any income is listed under “Uncategorized” column, click it to make sure it should not really be under “Box 7” column. Only reimbursements such as parking, tolls and hardware should appear under “Uncategorized” column. Correct as needed.
For each vendor that has more than $600 under the “Box 7” column, fill out one 1099 form.
We use Track1099.com now to send 1099s. This info is outdated:

Copy A goes to IRS with Form 1096. (Give to accountant.)
