Customer Wants to Know Why We Need to Know When an Employee is Terminated

In general, we find it helpful to know when an employee is leaving because it allows us to properly handle any security concerns. For many of our customers, we handle each individual’s email access, computer and file access, and other sensitive information. We also deactivate the contact in our records so if they call us claiming to be from your company, we know this is no longer the case.

If you feel more comfortable not giving us this info, that’s fine too. But it’s advisable to keep us up to date.
